Anxiety Therapy in Worthington, Ohio
Meet with an anxiety therapist for in-person counseling in Columbus or online across Ohio
Life in Worthington offers a small-town charm that many find comforting. But behind the historic Village Green and the streets lined with quaint, local shops, lie ordinary challenges that can affect you in complex ways. You may constantly feel on edge or worry excessively. You may have trouble relaxing or find that you’ve lost joy in the activities you once loved.
In anxiety therapy, you’ll not only be able to voice the anxieties you’ve been trying to ignore but also learn how to manage them better when they arise in your day-to-day. You’ll gain the confidence and tools to face confrontation without fear and trust yourself and your decisions. You won’t worry so much about things being “perfect,” and you’ll be able to show yourself the care you need to thrive.
The pressure of all the responsibilities in your life is starting to feel suffocating.
Maybe you can’t exactly pinpoint what the cause is, but you feel anxious most (or all) of the time. There’s a sense of imposter syndrome, like you’re not qualified for any of the roles you fill. You often struggle to focus and wish you could just snap out of it. At this point, everything feels out of your control.
Something in your life might have recently changed, and you’re not adjusting as well as you hoped you would.
Maybe this pertains to you…
A promotion at work with added responsibilities
Pregnancy or postpartum
Infidelity in your relationship or divorce
Being a new mom
Becoming a stay-at-home or working mom
Regardless of your situation, the “new normal” you find yourself in feels anything but normal.
Racing thoughts & worries leave you exhausted.
Too exhausted to do anything above the bare minimum. You feel like there’s so much you “should” be doing, which makes you feel guilty whenever you do try to rest. Right now, all you really want is to function better in your daily life, and to be able to manage stress with more ease.
Ready to take control of your anxiety & stop letting it control you?
In anxiety therapy, you’ll not only be able to voice the anxieties you’ve been trying to ignore, but also learn how to manage them better when they arise in your day-to-day. You’ll gain the confidence and tools to face confrontation without fear, and trust yourself and your decisions. You won’t worry so much about things being “perfect”, and you’ll be able to show yourself the care you need to thrive.

In your first hour-long session, I’ll ask you a series of questions that’ll help me get to know you. We’ll talk about the things that happened in your past, what you’re going through at present, and where you’d like to see yourself in the future. The duration of time is up to you and will depend on your individual goals. We will meet weekly for 50 minutes each session. Some have found 8-16 sessions helpful to feel equipped to move on, while others may want to do deeper work and continue longer. Once goals are met, some prefer check-in appointments every now and then, but it's up to you whether you want to continue our sessions.
